Meet Amber
Amber completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Great Distinction and then went on to pursue her Master’s of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan. She is a vestibular therapist which means she has additional training in assessing and treating vertigo and dizziness. She grew up in Saskatoon but now lives in Warman and has enjoyed living and working in this community.
Amber wants to work with you to teach you the tools to understand your body, any injuries and manage your pain. She tailors each treatment session to meet your needs and goals with a focus on collaborative care. Beginning treatment with Amber means you will have consistent long-term support throughout your life.
Her caring approach has connected her with people struggling with TMJ pain (jaw dysfunction), dizziness and vertigo, knee and back pain. At Nova, she also treats pregnancy related joint and muscle pain and pediatric conditions such as torticollis and plagiocephaly. She is able to assess and treat all areas of the body.
In your treatment she will access a variety of tools which may include exercise prescription, manual hands on techniques, education and collaboration with other professionals. She has taken multiple vestibular and dizziness courses in order to better understand and treat these conditions and is certified in Functional Range Conditioning.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading a good book and finding new activities to keep her active. She loves to play soccer, swim, spend time at the lake during the summer or ski in the winter. You’ll often see her walking around Warman with her dog Ali!
